On May 23-24, at the Investor Assistance Center in Skarżysko-Kamienna, the Association for Europe-East Integration organized the first of a series of specialized trainings preparing for work with foreign children. These trainings are one of the activities implemented under the project of the Świętokrzyskie Voivode entitled "Support for the integration of foreigners in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship" co-financed from the "Safe Harbor" National Program for Asylum, Migration and Integration.

We thank teachers from the Skarżyski poviat for their active participate, and the Investor Assistance Center in Skarżysko-Kamienna for successful cooperation.

INFORMATION ABOUT PROJECT

Project of the Voivode of Świętokrzyskie, n. "Support for the integration of foreigners in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship" is co-financed from the funds of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.

The total value of the Project is PLN 1 859 065.54, including FAMI contribution in the amount of PLN 1 394 299.15, the amount of co-financing from the State budget: PLN 464,766.39.

The goal of the project

The main objective of the project is to enable the widest possible access to integration services for all interested foreigners, legally staying in Poland in the Świętokrzyskie Province.The project activities are planned to cover about 1,000 third-country nationals.

The most important activities undertaken in the project will be:

1. Polish language courses for third-country nationals
2. Cyclic adaptation courses for foreigners regarding the values and laws in force in Poland
3. Specialized training for staff working with third-country nationals from the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship
4. Specialist courses for teachers preparing to work with a foreign child
5. Establishment of an Information and Advisory Point (PID).
