Noble and selfless individuals working for the benefit of those in need of support are the laureates of the Świętokrzyskie Voivode's "Pure Heart" Award. The commemorative statuettes were presented by Voivode Józef Bryk.
This year, the honorary award was presented in four categories: "institution," "non-governmental organization," "event/action," and "individual." The award pays tribute to Marek Kotański, a psychologist and therapist, the founder of "Monar" and the "Clean Hearts Movement." The Voivode's award was first presented in 2003.
– I am glad that we can honor people with wide-open, pure hearts. This continues the great work of Marek Kotański and the tradition in our voivodeship. We honor people and institutions promoting a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle for young people, – said Voivode Józef Bryk.
The "Pure Heart" statuette in the "event/action" category went to the Association Integration Europe-East, which conducts psychological workshops on various topics aimed at personal development and improving the mental quality of life for children and youth. It is also worth emphasizing the support provided to the youngest participants of integration workshops for multicultural classes, where it was important to enable children from different countries, including Ukraine, to engage in dialogue and resolve conflicts, fostering integration and building a school community.
